Geometry shapes and patterns

We have been studying shapes and patterns in math. Some of the shape designs and patterns turned out beautiful.

Today we had our third visit from our Artist In Residence. We have been working on clay vessels. The first stage was creating the cups. Second, we added details like funny faces and handles and they got dried in the kiln. Then, today,  we glazed our vessels with crazy colors. Now they are off to the kiln again for final firing!
