Take Action, Help the Humane Society

Well, we have finished our Inquiry project on the Humane Society and have completed our video for the Friday Assembly. The Inquiry process starts with Immersion, then Investigation, Coalescing, and finally Going Public. Here is our "Going Public" video that demonstrates all of our new knowledge about the Humane Society and how we Took Action to help out the rescued pets.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great day today! Everyone made Shrinky-Dinks at the Halloween Party and we ate too much candy! Later that evening, I checked out our class art project at the Family Art Night. We had a great turn out and I love how we used our latest math lesson to create art. Symmetry and optical illusions: Face or Vase pictures. Look close, is it a student profile or a funky candlestick?
